sfu1204 ball screw is one of the commonly used transmission elements of precision mobile units.It is a spiral motion pair that replaces the sliding of the screw nut with the rolling of the ball.Due to the small friction loss of sfu1204 , its transmission efficiency can reach 90%~98%,which is about 2~3 times the efficiency of the sliding rotation mechanism.
When the sfu1204 ball screw and the nut are subjected to axial load and relative motion,the ball contacts the screw raceway and the nut raceway surface respectively.At present, there are two types of raceway profiles widely used in China: single arc type and double arc type.
The ball has four contact areas in the double arc ball screw pair, and two contact areas in the single arc ball screw pair. As the force and direction of the ball in the contact area are different,the movement form of sfu1204 ball screw is also different, mainly rolling, rotating, sliding, etc.
